Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, supporting healthy pregnancies and deliveries. Ensure safety and comfort for both mother and newborn through comprehensive clinical practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assess maternal and fetal well-being through monitoring and documentation.
• Administer medications and assist with procedures such as cerclage, version, and C-section.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients on labor, delivery, postpartum care, and neonatal care instructions.
• Maintain environment of safety by adhering to protocols during emergencies and procedures.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Must possess BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in circulating and FHM skills.
• Experience with high-acuity obstetrics units required.
• Ability to float within scope to antepartum and postpartum settings.
