Job Summary:

CT Tech provides high-quality computed tomography imaging by operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and delivering accurate diagnostic studies. The role involves performing CT protocols, preparing patients for imaging, and documenting completed procedures in the EMR.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality scans according to established protocols.
• Position patients correctly and optimize scan parameters for image clarity and clinical needs.
• Prepare and educate patients for CT procedures, including managing pediatric considerations when required.
• Perform radiologic imaging including X-rays as needed to support patient care requirements.
• Ensure radiation safety practices and follow infection control standards throughout the imaging process.
• Document procedure details and results in the electronic medical record (EPIC preferred).

Qualifications:

• Hold an active ARRT (CT) credential.
• Maintain a current R.T. (CT) license/registration as required for practice.
• Demonstrate at least one year of recent CT experience.
• Possess strong pediatric experience (preferred).
• Show recent travel experience (preferred).
• Demonstrate familiarity with EPIC charting (preferred).
