Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, supporting safe and effective childbirth experiences. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions pre- and post-delivery to develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to detect any signs of distress.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and families on labor process, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license.
• Possess recent experience in Labor and Delivery or maternity care.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Experience with electronic medical records and documentation procedures.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS preferred.
