Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Neuro IR Tech to perform advanced neurointerventional procedures in a teaching hospital setting. The ideal candidate will support a dynamic neuro IR team and ensure high-quality patient care during complex interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform neurointerventional procedures, including neuro IR, with precision and adherence to protocol.
• Maintain current certifications, including BLS and ARRT (R), ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot neuro IR equipment while optimizing image quality and patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless procedural workflows.
• Document all procedures accurately within the facility’s electronic health record system.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding radiation safety, including providing and maintaining a radiation badge.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, specifically in Interventional Radiology and Neuro procedures.
• Possess current BLS and ARRT (R) certifications.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of neurointerventional procedures and equipment.
• Willing to obtain and maintain a valid South Carolina license or proof of application.
• Be capable of adhering to radiation safety protocols, including providing a radiation badge.
• Ability to work 5 days per week, with flexibility for on-call rotation every 5th weekend and one night per week.
