Job Summary:
Provide specialized nutritional services as a Registered Dietitian within a hospital setting, supporting patient care through assessment, education, and nutrition planning. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients admitted to various units.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on assessments.
• Educate patients on dietary needs, calorie counts, and nutrition strategies.
• Perform nutrition-focused physical exams to evaluate patient health status.
• Document care activities and progress accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to hospital policies and unit guidelines, including on-call and weekend rotations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Registered Dietitian credential and valid state licensure.
• Demonstrate 1-2 years of experience as a Dietitian in a healthcare environment.
• Display strong knowledge of clinical nutrition procedures and assessments.
• Possess excellent communication skills and a friendly, independent work ethic.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and participate in on-call duties.
