Job Summary:
Provide specialized patient care as a Registered Nurse in a Medical Surgical/Tele unit within a short-term acute care facility. Ensure safe, effective, and efficient nursing practices while adhering to hospital and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes.
• Manage telemetry equipment and interpret cardiac data for accurate patient assessment.
• Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including IV starts and airway management.
• Document patient information accurately in Epic electronic health records.
• Float within the scope of practice to support unit coverage and meet facility needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Oregon RN license or have pending licensure approval.
• Possess at least 1-year experience within the last 3 years in MS/Tele/PCU, including neurotrauma stepdown preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and dysrhythmia management.
• BLS certification through AHA mandatory; NIHHS neurotrauma certification preferred.
• Be capable of working 12-hour night shifts with strong clinical skills.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
