Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Medical Surgical - Neuro to provide exceptional patient care during night shifts. This role involves managing neurology and surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside care to neuro and medical-surgical patients in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient status and neurologic assessments, including NIHSS scoring, and respond promptly to changes.
• Document all patient interactions and clinical information accurately using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Activate rapid response team when necessary and manage patient safety protocols.
• Float to similar units when required, maintaining flexibility within scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license (state or compact) and pending or completed NM/Compact license accepted prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical Surgical or Neuro units.
• BLS certification required; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts with 12-hour shifts scheduled from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Capable of adhering to unit-specific protocols and electronic health records documentation.
• Must meet travel compliance and potentially complete lab requirements within 48 hours of onboarding.
