Job Summary:
The Mammography Technologist performs specialized breast imaging procedures to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and patient care. They work independently, applying clinical expertise to ensure precise imaging and enhance patient experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized mammography procedures following established protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and accurately to produce optimal images for diagnostic purposes.
• Assess patient condition, provide clear instructions, and foster cooperation throughout procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to all privacy, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Document procedures accurately and ensure proper management of images and reports.
• Mentor and orient new staff or colleagues as needed to uphold department standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California State License for mammography or radiologic technology.
• Possess ARRT Certification in Mammography and general Radiography, highly preferred.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of mammography experience in a clinical setting.
• Exhibit strong patient assessment, communication skills, and clinical judgment.
• Be committed to maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
