Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Medical Surgical setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to hospital policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate total nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Participate in patient and family education to promote health and recovery.
• Work cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams to maintain professional nursing standards.
• Float to adjacent units as needed, including the Thompson Unit for higher patient ratios.
• Ensure compliance with all medical and occupational health requirements, including timely documentation.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation using Epic and follow hospital policies for shift coverage.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR system.
• Provide current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Obtain and document active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Must have own vehicle and provide permanent address within profile.
