Job Summary:
Provides specialized mammography imaging services to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast health issues. Performs routine and advanced breast procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal image quality.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts mammography procedures independently, exercising sound clinical judgment to produce high-quality images.
• Assesses patients thoroughly, providing attentive monitoring and explaining procedures to ensure cooperation.
• Adheres strictly to all regulatory standards, safety protocols, and privacy laws to guarantee safe patient care.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers, communicating imaging findings effectively for accurate diagnosis.
• Maintains and calibrates imaging equipment regularly to ensure operational excellence.
• May orient and train new staff or students in mammography techniques and departmental procedures.

Qualifications:

• Possesses valid CA State Radiologic Technologist license (CRT).
• Holds current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Has at least 2 years of recent mammography experience demonstrating technical proficiency.
• Demonstrates excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
• Maintains compliance with all local/state/federal healthcare regulations.
• Experienced with mammography equipment and digital imaging technology.
