Job Summary:
Assist occupational therapists in providing treatment to patients with various physical, developmental, or emotional conditions. Support patient rehabilitation plans to improve functionality and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Observe and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and family members on therapeutic activities and exercises.
• Assist in patient positioning, bedside activities, and transferring patients securely.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report any concerns to the supervising therapist.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
• Previous experience as a COTA is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and procedures.
• Certification in CPR and basic life support (BLS).
