Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Dialysis to provide exceptional patient care on a 13-week contract. This role involves working night shifts, including weekends, with rotating call responsibilities to support dialysis units across multiple facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Administer dialysis treatments such as IHD, PD, and CRRT according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions during treatments, assessing vital signs and responsiveness to therapy.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and relevant clinical data in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to safety standards.
- Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety guidelines, including wearing navy scrubs.
- Respond to call requirements during night shifts, providing timely support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with current certification in Texas.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute dialysis experience.
- Proficient in using dialysis equipment such as Tablo, Prismax, and Amia.
- Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts, rotating weekends, and handle call duties effectively.
- Flexible personality with strong clinical judgment and patient-focused approach.
