Job Summary:
Perform advanced MRI imaging procedures to assist radiologists with diagnostic interpretation. Ensure the delivery of high-quality images while maintaining safety standards and patient care protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanner to acquire multiple cross-sectional images and compile them into 3D visualizations.
• Obtain clear, diagnostic-quality images consistently for radiologist review.
• Monitor and uphold safety regulations within the MRI environment for staff and patients.
• Document patient interactions and care details accurately in hospital records.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Maintain familiarity with PACS for efficient image storage and retrieval.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate's Degree in Radiography or related field.
• ARRT certified in Radiography and licensed in Maine.
• ARRT MRI certification preferred.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of MRI procedures and safety protocols.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
