Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to provide high-quality patient care in a Med-Surg unit. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with a focus on cardiac and postoperative care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care utilizing telemetry monitoring and advanced medical equipment.
• Perform daily assessments, vital signs, and document patient status accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Manage procedures such as wound care, IV starts, and bedside reports.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation in the electronic medical record (Meditech Expanse).

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience, preferably in Med-Surg or telemetry.
• Proven telemetry experience with familiarity in cardiac monitoring systems.
• CPR certification; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate strong team collaboration and initiative.
• Ability to work 13-week shifts, including weekends and holidays.
