Job Summary:
Provide specialized endoscopy nursing care in a fast-paced endoscopy unit. Support patient safety and comfort through procedures, patient assessment, and efficient care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre- and post-procedure patient care in endoscopy procedures.
• Assist physicians during complex GI procedures such as ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, and colonoscopy.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper endoscope reprocessing per guidelines.
• Document procedures, patient interactions, and clinical notes accurately in EMR.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of GI/endoscopy experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in procedures like colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and bronchoscopy.
• Possess current certifications required for GI procedures and patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle call responsibilities of 4-7 days per month.
• Exhibit strong communication, clinical skills, and attention to detail.
