Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled RN for the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) to provide specialized perioperative care for cardiac surgery patients. The position offers an opportunity to work within a leading hospital known for its excellence in cardiac and high-acuity surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and intraoperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries.
• Monitor and operate GE Carescape Monitoring and other advanced surgical equipment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe anesthesia induction, patient positioning, and skin preparation.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, and epidural placements.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Cerner system.
• Transport patients to and from the OR and support anesthesia induction and intubation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of CVOR or extensive critical care experience.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with GE Carescape and other surgical monitoring equipment.
• Ability to lift, move, and assist with complex patient procedures.
