Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to adult, neonatal, and pediatric patients in a high-acuity hospital setting. Ensure the delivery of safe, effective respiratory therapy aligned with established protocols and patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and interventions to patients requiring critical care support.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies to optimize outcomes.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced ventilator and oxygen delivery equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Comply with all safety, infection control, and unit policies during patient care activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid North Carolina Respiratory License.
• Obtain and maintain RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in critical care or similar units.
• Demonstrate proficiency with adult and pediatric ventilators and respiratory devices.
• Be flexible to work scheduled weekends and on-call shifts.
