Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Critical Access Hospital, primarily in the ICU/PCU setting. Ensure patient safety, deliver education, and document care accurately while floating to different units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to ICU/PCU patients, adhering to facility protocols.
• Identify patient and family needs, providing education utilizing appropriate modalities.
• Maintain patient safety through preventative measures, including proper use of restraints and safety equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot medical equipment, accessing manuals as necessary.
• Follow infection control and isolation procedures diligently, documenting accordingly.
• Complete accurate and concise documentation of patient status, interventions, and responses.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active WA RN license required.
• Proven experience in ICU, PCU, telemetry, or med-surg settings.
• Ability to float to MSU and adapt to different units as needed.
• Knowledge of hospital safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
