Job Summary:

Emergency Department RN for Night shifts provides high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and emergent needs. The role supports timely assessment, triage, and treatment coordination to ensure safe and effective emergency care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess incoming patients and identify changes in condition promptly.
• Perform triage support activities and initiate nursing interventions as indicated.
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols and provider orders.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and clinical indicators and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain readiness of equipment, supplies, and aseptic practices in the emergency setting.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrate strong emergency nursing assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Provide ACLS/ BLS capability per facility requirements (current certifications required).
• Exhibit proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and patient monitoring.
• Maintain sound clinical documentation skills and adherence to safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team in high-acuity situations.
