Job Summary:


The Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer provides high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging technology to support accurate, timely clinical decision-making. This role performs imaging procedures, maintains patient safety and comfort, and ensures images are properly prepared for interpretation.



Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations within scope of practice, including Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties.
  
• Capture, optimize, and document ultrasound images and measurements for clinical interpretation.
  
• Verify patient information, explain procedures, and prepare patients to support comfort and compliance.
  
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety practices, and departmental quality standards.
  
• Maintain equipment readiness by conducting routine checks and reporting equipment issues promptly.
  
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and proper handling of imaging data according to workflow standards.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in Abdomen.
  
• Hold ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in OB/GYN specialties.
  
• Maintain a current, unencumbered Oregon license in Sonography.
  
• Possess current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
  
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of ultrasound anatomy, protocols, and image quality fundamentals.
  
• Bring prior hospital setting experience as a plus.
