Job Summary:
The Mammography Tech is responsible for performing breast imaging procedures to aid in the diagnosis and screening of breast health issues. This role requires delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography screening, diagnostic, and 3-D Tomosynthesis imaging for approximately 50-75 patients daily across three rooms.
• Operate GE Pristina equipment to acquire accurate breast images.
• Adjust to departmental needs by covering both hospital and ambulatory center settings.
• Collaborate with radiologists and Lead Techs to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain patient awareness and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Adhere to dress code and infection control policies, including wearing provided Caribbean Blue scrubs.

Qualifications:

• Certified mammography technologist with relevant state licensure.
• Demonstrate proficiency in breast imaging, including 3-D Tomosynthesis.
• Prior experience with GE Pristina mammography systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills to handle diverse patient populations.
• Flexibility to float between main hospital and ambulatory center as needed.
