Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled NICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role involves floating between NICU, PICU, and Pedi units, supporting critically ill infants and pediatric patients up to 21 years old.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor advanced neonatal and pediatric patient care, including ventilation, IVs, and central lines.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, house staff, and care teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with all required certifications and protocols, including NRP, BCLS, PALS, and ACLS.
• Read and interpret monitor strips and vital signs to assess patient status.
• Support patient and family education on condition and treatments.
• Flexibly float between units, adapting to varying acuity levels and patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with previous Level 3 NICU experience.
• Current certifications: NRP, BCLS, PALS, and ACLS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ventilator management, IV insertion, and critical care procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret monitor strips accurately.
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability to float across multiple pediatric units.
• Comfortable working with first-time travelers and flexible scheduling.
