Job Summary:
The X-ray/Rad Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. They ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging while maintaining safety protocols and patient comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment including C-arm, portable abdomen, and chest machines to produce diagnostic images.
• Assess patient condition and position them correctly for optimal imaging results.
• Adhere to safety standards such as BLS, ARRT-R (preferred), and device-specific protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care and imaging processes.
• Ensure proper use of scrubs (black) and follow facility dress code policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact Radiologic Technology license at the time of submission.
• Possess 3+ years of inpatient and/or outpatient imaging experience, including ER and pediatric/PICU settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency with GE, PACS, and Siemens imaging systems.
• Be ARRT-R certified (preferred) and BLS certified.
• Have experience with C-arm, portable abdomen, and chest imaging procedures.
• Ability to work evening shift (5:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and comply with travel and hydration policies.
