Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to infants in the NICU setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and developmental support. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor ventilator support and other respiratory equipment for neonates.
• Perform clinical procedures such as intubations, eye exams assistance, feeding tube insertions, and IV placements.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in EMR systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and unit policies, including certifications and dress code.
• Educate families and caregivers on infant care and ongoing treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active RN license with at least 1 year of NICU experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in ventilator and oscillator management with infant patients.
• Certification in CPR and NRP required.
• Experience with EMR systems such as Centricity Perinatal and Meditech preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with a team and maintain a compassionate demeanor.
• Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and on-call as required.
