Job Summary:


SEASONAL - CONTRACT - RN - NICU (671) is a travel nursing role providing specialized care for critically ill newborns in a Level 4 NICU environment. This assignment is designed for a bedside RN who can thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting while delivering compassionate, evidence-based neonatal care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct NICU nursing care for patients ranging from stable to critically ill, supporting appropriate acuity levels and ratios.
  
• Monitor vital signs, oxygenation, and perfusion; titrate support and respond promptly to clinical changes.
  
• Administer medications and perform assessments in coordination with the multidisciplinary care team.
  
• Operate and manage NICU equipment including ventilators and infusion/feeding/breast pumping systems according to policy.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech and CPN electronic systems.
  
• Support family-centered care by communicating updates and reinforcing discharge/education priorities when applicable.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and be eligible to work in the assigned state.
  
• Possess 2 years of NICU experience with strong bedside competency.
  
• Demonstrate 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience preferred/required for consideration.
  
• Exhibit teamwork skills and a positive attitude in a high-change environment.
  
• Support safe practice with strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and patient advocacy.
