Job Summary:

MRI Tech will perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols. This part-time role requires weekend coverage every other weekend and dependable operation within a clinical workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI scans following established protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients accurately and monitor them throughout the imaging process.
• Operate MRI equipment safely, maintaining proper technical settings for each exam.
• Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications and monitoring during imaging.
• Prepare and maintain imaging supplies, contrast-related readiness, and equipment readiness.
• Document exam details and support quality assurance activities to meet clinical standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification (MRI) or equivalent ARRT credential.
• Maintain at least 2+ years of MRI imaging experience.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety practices, including screening and contraindication awareness.
• Exhibit proficiency in patient positioning, image quality troubleshooting, and workflow coordination.
• Communicate effectively with patients and care teams in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Be willing to convert to FTE when opportunities become available.
