Job Summary:

Registered Nurse - ER provides high-acuity emergency care in the Main ED and PBED, supporting trauma and adult emergency patients. This role delivers rapid assessment, evidence-based interventions, and coordinated teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients from arrival through treatment and disposition.
• Administer medications, initiate protocols, and monitor patient response using GE monitoring systems.
• Perform common ED procedures including IV therapy, wound care, and patient stabilization activities.
• Collaborate with charge staff, physicians, and techs to maintain efficient patient flow and safety.
• Document care accurately in MediTech, maintaining timely and compliant charting.
• Maintain readiness for high-volume periods by supporting zone-based care assignments (typical 1:4 ratio).

Qualifications:

• Hold active BLS certification.
• Hold active ACLS certification.
• Hold active PALS certification.
• Hold active TNCC certification.
• Demonstrate strong, high-caliber emergency patient care skills and the ability to work independently.
• Possess emergency department experience with comfort performing typical ED workflows and stabilization tasks.
