Job Summary:

TRAVEL - RN ER (780) provides expert nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, supporting rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment. This role requires strong clinical judgment in fast-paced, high-acuity situations while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Assess incoming patients and prioritize care based on acuity and presentation.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and provider orders.
• Monitor vital signs, document patient status, and communicate changes promptly.
• Perform nursing interventions for time-sensitive emergencies and initiate appropriate care pathways.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure safe, accurate use of medical equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with physicians, RTs, and support staff to support continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Demonstrate 1+ year of recent Emergency Room experience as a bedside RN.
• Possess strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills in acute settings.
• Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
