Job Summary:

Travel - RN - ED (789) - Wesley Derby FSED - 7P - 7A provides emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED environment, supporting low-to-moderate acuity needs with strong readiness for higher acuity presentations. The RN collaborates with physicians and midlevel providers to deliver safe, timely patient assessment, interventions, and medication administration.

Responsibilities:

• Assess incoming patients and initiate evidence-based emergency care.
• Administer medications and perform IV starts per protocol with accurate documentation.
• Monitor patient status continuously and report changes to the care team promptly.
• Support pediatric care using team-based nursing workflows as needed.
• Prepare and assist with sedations and other ED procedures according to training and policy.
• Scan patients and medications each time to maintain safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license appropriate for practice.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital ED RN experience.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Hold or maintain NIH and PALS certifications, plus TNCC certification.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently in a high-volume, competitive ED pace.
• Bring Meditech experience and/or ENPC certification as a strong plus.
