Job Description

Job Summary:


Speech Language Pathologist needed to provide clinical speech, language, and communication services for patients across the care continuum. This role evaluates needs, develops treatment plans, and delivers evidence-based therapy to support functional outcomes.



Responsibilities:

  • Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs using appropriate clinical tools.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals based on evaluation findings.
  • Deliver direct therapy services and document progress in accordance with clinical standards.
  • Provide caregiver education and support to reinforce therapy strategies outside sessions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and adjust plans as patient needs change.
  • Maintain accurate records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.



    Qualifications:
  • Hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license/certification in the state where services are provided.
  • Demonstrate clinical experience providing speech and language therapy across varied patient needs.
  • Possess strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and treatment practices.
  • Show proficiency with documentation requirements and clinical reporting standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary stakeholders.
