Job Summary:


Registered Nurse in the ICU providing advanced critical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with life-threatening conditions. Manages complex care needs including invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring and titration of high-acuity therapies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct bedside nursing care for critically ill patients with complex, rapidly changing conditions.
  
• Titrate and manage vasoactive and sedation/analgesia therapies, including vasoactive infusions and other time-sensitive critical drip regimens.
  
• Monitor physiologic status, interpret telemetry strip data, and collaborate with the care team to respond to clinical changes.
  
• Perform nursing interventions for sepsis, acute MI, renal dysfunction, post-vascular procedure recovery, stroke/TIA, and seizure management as assigned.
  
• Manage ventilator-supported and noninvasive respiratory therapies, including airway-related care for ET tube and trach patients.
  
• Support unit flow by floating to stepdown and, when needed, other telemetry/Med-Surg settings for boarded ED ICU patients.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and maintain compliance with required clinical certifications.
  
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certification.
  
• Demonstrate ICU experience with a strong foundation in critical care nursing workflows.
  
• Bring experience with CRRT and IABP; Impella experience is preferred.
  
• Show readiness to titrate commonly used critical drips and infusion therapies.
  
• Complete travel-ready competencies and be prepared to work rotating schedules including weekends and holidays.
