Job Summary:

Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room in a rural critical access setting, providing quality patient care during overnight hours. This role supports safe assessment, treatment, and coordination of emergency services for diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with acute conditions in the Emergency Room.
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols and provider orders.
• Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in vital signs or clinical status.
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Document clinical findings, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Maintain safe practice standards, infection control, and patient safety throughout shift activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license.
• Demonstrate strong emergency nursing judgment and rapid triage capabilities.
• Maintain current BLS certification; advance life support credentials preferred when required by policy.
• Provide evidence of effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings.
• Show proficiency with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care and safe, compliant practice.
