Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (Oncology) provides evidence-based outpatient oncology nursing care, supporting treatment workflows and patient safety throughout infusion and injection processes. The role requires strong oncology knowledge and high proficiency in Epic to document care and manage back-office activities efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outpatient oncology nursing care for patients undergoing treatment and related procedures.
• Administer oncology medications using established treatment workflows and safety protocols.
• Perform accurate IV insertion and injection techniques while maintaining aseptic practice.
• Document assessments, interventions, and treatment events in Epic with precision and timeliness.
• Coordinate back-office oncology activities to support infusion schedules and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with the care team to monitor patients for adverse reactions and escalate concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active California RN license.
• Maintain BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Earn required oncology certifications: ONS and/or ONCC.
• Demonstrate 2+ years of oncology nursing experience (outpatient experience preferred).
• Possess strong Epic proficiency, including comfort with documentation and clinical workflows.
• Deliver excellent IV insertion and injection skills with a focus on patient safety.
