Job Summary:
Provides overnight sleep studies by setting up patients and recording polysomnographic and video data to assist in the diagnosis of sleep disorders. Collaborates with the Sleep Lab team to ensure accurate and efficient testing procedures, adhering to all safety and policy standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for sleep studies by performing equipment setup and ensuring comfort.
• Record and monitor overnight polysomnographic and video data accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate patient testing activities.
• Administer sleep medications according to established protocols.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it functions correctly throughout testing.
• Document and report test findings as required for diagnostic evaluation.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an AMA-approved college program or possess at least one year of experience in polysomnography, neurodiagnostics, or respiratory therapy.
• Hold a current Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) license.
• Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the BRPT.
• Maintain Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
