Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt quickly to various emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

• Render emergency nursing care to patients experiencing acute health conditions.
• Assess patient conditions accurately and prioritize interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information thoroughly in the Meditech system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
• Possess minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system is preferred.
• Be able to work 12-hour night shifts (7PM-7:30AM) on a 13-week travel assignment.
