Job Summary:

Provides specialized surgical assistance to ensure successful operative procedures, supporting surgical teams with routine and delegated tasks while maintaining compliance with department standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing operating rooms and surgical equipment prior to procedures.
• Perform routine clinical duties and support surgeons during neuro, spine, and ortho surgeries.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards, including maintaining sterile environments.
• Complete required documentation accurately using Epic or other electronic charting systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage for scheduled shifts.
• Support floating to other clinical sites as needed based on census and departmental needs.

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) licensure (NBSTSA) required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience, with strong neuro, spine, and total joint skills.
• Experience with Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and DaVinci robotic systems preferred.
• Valid state license and ability to pass background checks (BG hits or DUIs disclosure required prior to submission).
• Ability to work evenings (5x8 shift 15:00-23:30) and participate in on-call duties.
