Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit. Ensure the safety and well-being of patients through evidence-based practices and efficient team coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and monitor fetal heart rate and progress using electronic fetal monitoring equipment.
• Administer medications, including oxytocin and epidurals, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with procedures such as SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC, ensuring proper sterility and patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR and comply with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2+ years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Credentialed in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and demonstrate competency in fetal monitoring and SVE.
• Experience circulating in C-sections and managing high-volume, Level IV units is preferred.
• Possess excellent teamwork, communication, and positive attitude.
• Willingness to work 13-week night shifts with rotating weekends.
