Job Summary:
Provide specialized peri-operative nursing care as part of the operating room team. Collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive peri-operative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist in preparing the operating room and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with surgical team members and document patient information accurately.
• Manage patient monitoring and respond appropriately to intraoperative changes.
• Participate in call schedule, including weekday evenings and weekend shifts, ensuring coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Possess two or more years of peri-operative nursing experience preferred.
• Maintain current CNOR certification.
• Be BLS certified; PALS certification preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in peri-operative patient care and sterile techniques.
