Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Neuro Medical Surgical RN to provide specialized patient care on a 23-bed inpatient neurology unit. This role involves managing adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, stroke, epilepsy, and related diagnoses, ensuring quality care and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor medications and treatments for neurology and stroke patients.
• Perform neurological assessments and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage continuous epilepsy monitoring in designated rooms and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital policies and licensing requirements.
• Float between similar units or sister facilities within scope as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical or Neurology units.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Ability to perform neurological assessments and manage complex patient conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• First-time travelers accepted with proper licensure.
