Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a hospital setting, specializing in neuro and stroke units. Deliver patient-centered services during night shifts, ensuring safety and quality care compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously, recognizing changes in neurological and overall health status.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, post-treatment care, and safety measures.
• Ensure adherence to facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license applicable in South Carolina or multi-state/compact license.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a neurologic or stroke unit.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and NHT certifications preferred.
• Ability to float within scope to meet unit or facility needs.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• First-time travelers accepted; able to complete required compliance modules promptly.
