Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients in a Medical Surgical setting, ensuring patient safety and well-being through skilled nursing interventions. This role involves working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting various units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician’s orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical conditions regularly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and promptly in medical records.
• Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and provide immediate interventions.
• Float between units and sister facilities to meet staffing needs as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or multi-state license with eligibility to practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS and NIT are preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Flexibility to float within scope and support different units.
