Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care within the GI/Endoscopy department, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients prior to endoscopic procedures and monitor during the process.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional GI and pulmonary procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse with active state certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience within the GI/Endoscopy specialty.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of endoscopic and pulmonary procedural protocols and infection control.
