Job Summary:
Assist healthcare providers with technical and administrative duties to ensure smooth patient care and clinic operations. Provide patient support, perform clinical tasks, and manage documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture, EKGs, vital signs, and specimen collection to support diagnostic procedures.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Manage patient check-in, appointment scheduling, and update demographic and insurance information.
• Prepare and organize exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control protocols.
• Enter orders, requisitions, and updates into electronic medical records accurately.
• Stock and inventory medical supplies, monitor expiration dates, and dispose of expired items per policy.

Qualifications:

• Hold a High School Diploma or GED with completion of an approved Medical Assistant certification course.
• Possess BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, HIPAA guidelines, and EMR systems.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Prior experience in clinical or medical assisting roles preferred.
