Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Candidates must hold valid UT licenses and be COMPACT eligible at submission.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients, including assessments, treatments, and ongoing monitoring.
• Perform advanced clinical procedures such as ultrasound-guided IV insertions, EKGs, chest tube management, and central line setup.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and mid-level providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Respond to trauma and critical patients promptly, providing life-saving interventions.
• Maintain compliance with certifications and unit-specific guidelines to ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold current UT RN license and COMPACT eligibility.
• Possess valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Have at least 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced emergency procedures and equipment.
• Be willing to work 36-hour shifts, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, including weekends.
• Have experience with Meditech documentation and emergency interventions.
