Job Summary:

Seeking a experienced Registered Nurse to provide expert care in a 34-bed Emergency Department. The RN will manage acute patient assessments, coordinate care delivery, and educate patients and families within a level 3 stroke receiving center.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs in a busy ED setting.
• Deliver holistic, individualized nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate and evaluate treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and transitions of care.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Maintain compliance with all licensure, certification, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ ED experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification from AHA.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (1800-0630) with rotating weekends.
• Demonstrates strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical skills.
