Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Telemetry unit. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment, with a focus on Med Surg Telemetry specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry data accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information thoroughly in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with procedures such as IV placement, blood draws, and bladder scans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during their hospital stay.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license with eligibility to work in NY.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in telemetry or Med Surg units.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• NIHSS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start.
• CMSRN certification preferred.
