Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting within a specialized unit that combines medical and behavioral health needs. Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring safety, comfort, and recovery for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately in EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, escalate concerns as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact license.
• At least 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Proficient in Epic electronic health record system.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts with holiday rotation.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
