Job Summary:
Provide specialized occupational therapy services to patients of all ages, focusing on restoring function, preventing disability, and improving quality of life through evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to identify deficits and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer occupational therapy modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Supervise and collaborate with assistants and aides to ensure proper care delivery.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and strategies to enhance recovery.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate departmental records in accordance with standards.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of occupational therapy equipment while maintaining department cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid occupational therapy license and compliance with state licensure requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing various occupational therapy modalities and equipment.
• Possess strong assessment and treatment planning skills for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills for interactions with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work effectively in both inpatient and outpatient settings with a flexible, organized approach.
