Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse to support complex cardiac procedures at MUSC. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and EP procedures.
• Assist physicians with a variety of cases including Right and Left Heart Cath, PCI, TAVR, PFO/ASD closures, and more.
• Maintain sterile technique and operate specialized equipment during procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide post-procedure care to ensure safety and optimal recovery.
• Document patient findings, procedures, and interventions accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 1 year of recent catheterization lab nursing experience.
• Possess current SC or multi-state/c compact RN license.
• Certify in BLS, ACLS, and hold a radiation badge.
• Demonstrate scrub experience in cardiac catheterization or similar procedures.
• Able to work 4x10 shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with on-call requirements.
• Be willing to work scheduled on-call nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
