Job Summary:

Seeking experienced CVOR registered nurses for 13-week travel assignments at a top-tier regional hospital. Candidates will provide specialized cardiovascular surgical care in a high-acuity environment, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced cardiac and vascular perioperative care to surgical patients.
• Monitor patient condition using GE Carescape and other advanced equipment.
• Assist with invasive procedures including arterial, central, and epidural line placements.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including skin assessment, positioning, and skin prep.
• Support anesthesia induction, intubation, and patient transport to OR.
• Document clinical activities accurately within Cerner system and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of cardiovascular surgical experience.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in advanced procedures such as arterial, central, and epidural line placements.
• Experience with GE Carescape monitoring systems required.
• Ability to adapt to unit policies, including documentation and dress code standards.
